To assist its development of the next generation of athletes, Seiko Holdings Corporation has donated some athletic equipment to the famous Jamaican club, the Racers Track Club.

RTC was founded in 1986 in Kingston, Jamaica. It aims to train young athletes from Jamaica and many other countries and help them to reach the highest level in the sport, as Yohan Blake, Warren Weir and many others who trained there have done.

Seiko has served as the official timer to the IAAF for 30 years.In addition to timing every IAAF World Championships since Rome in 1987, Seiko has supported the development of the sport by providing world class timing and scoring services to the IAAF World Junior and IAAF World Youth Championships throughout this period. This donation to the RTC is a further expression of Seiko’s long term commitment to the sport of athletics. The package comprises starting blocks and stopwatches, which will be used to support the training programs of the club’s athletes.
